Timetable Subscription Service

About the Group
|
Current timetables Essex County Council publishes comprehensive
public transport guides (covering bus, rail and ferry services) that cover
the whole county (excluding The books are not easily obtained out of the
relevant area, but by kind agreement with the Council, we are able to offer
timetables by post on a subscription service.
Subscribers pay £10 to £25 at a time (depending on how many different
areas they want) and receive each new issue as it is published, plus copies
of the monthly “Bus Passenger News” update leaflet and Essex maps. You can join the subscription service at any time. The guides are currently issued for the following
areas: ·
West and ·
·
North ·
·

purchase a single copy of a timetable, contact Essex County Council direct at County Hall,
Chelmsford CM1 1QH; at the time of writing (June 2005) the prices are £1 per
book plus postage of £1.80 (single book), £3.60 (2), £4.40 (3) or £5 (4 or 5
books) or try local newsagents, bus enquiry offices and tourist information
centres in the relevant area. Archive timetables The
Group has access to an extensive collection of historical timetables, going
back to 1909. We are able to supply
photocopies of individual service timetables.
