About the Group	Forthcoming meetings - South Essex . Monday September 8 - Members photo evening - bring along 20/30 slides or digital images; any era or theme, so long as it's bus/coach related! Monday October 13 - slide show by Alan Osborne, 1980s Essex, before deregulation Monday November 10 - Steve Nelson, MD of local bus company NIBS, will give a talk about NIBS, illustrated by Chris Stewart Monday December 8 - slide show by Richard Delahoy, "20 years ago" and Christmas Social Please note new the meeting date - second MONDAY in the month - and venue. Doors open at 1930 for an informal chat, with the main talk or show from 2000 to 2145/2200; a cash bar is available. South Essex meetings take place at Wickford Cricket Club, off Swan Lane, Wickford - 5 minutes walk from Wickford Station and 5 minutes drive from the A130 and A127. In Wickford town centre, turn into Swan Lane from Runwell Road (Swans pub is on the corner); turn right into the entrance about 100' up on the right - marked Wickford Tennis Club. This is an unmade road so beware of potholes. Go straight ahead towards the tennis courts and then left at the end - you will see the clubhouse in front of you. Car parking available on site. Refreshments are not provided – please bring your own soft drinks if you wish. North Essex meetings take place at the Friends Meeting House, Church Street, Colchester – in the town centre, just south of “Jumbo” (the water tower) and behind the Mercury Theatre.
