Doors open at 1915 for an informal chat, with the main talk or show from 2000 to 2200; a cash bar is available.  £1 donation towards room hire requested.

South Essex meetings normally take place at Wickford Cricket Club, off Swan Lane, Wickford - 5 minutes walk from Wickford Station and 5 minutes drive from the A130 and A127.  In Wickford town centre, turn into Swan Lane from Runwell Road (Swans pub is on the corner); turn right into the entrance about 100' up on the right - marked Wickford Tennis Club.  This is an unmade road so beware of potholes.  Go straight ahead towards the tennis courts and then left at the end - you will see the clubhouse in front of you.  Some car parking available on site.  If on foot, bring a torch - the approach is unlit!
