Magazine: The planned
publication date of each magazine is shown in the previous issue. We will only post information here if there
is a significant delay. The
magazine features full colour throughout (except where we use historic black
& white photos) and features historical and current articles as well as
current news. FaceBook: Follow us at fb.me/essexbus for Group news, publication dates for Essex Bus News, and more. The FB page is updated regularly, far more often
than this web site. First Essex fleet lists: Since February 2020 we have published a free 4-weekly
First Essex Buses fleet list. Click on
the “Fleet lists” link to the left to download copies. Events: Our monthly meetings are listed on the
relevant page, we will only post news here if a meeting is changed or
cancelled. Meetings have now resumed in Chelmsford, see
the Meetings page for details. Tours: See the Tours page
for info. There are none currently
scheduled. Publications: Volumes 1 & 3 of our Eastern National Fleet Record series
are still available, see the Publications page for details, along with EN
& Thamesway in London (Tendered Services). Volume 2 is now sold out but can be
downloaded for free in pdf format from MDS Booksales. Photo Service: This has now closed
and we have passed our negative collection to The Bus Archive. Visit the Omnibus Society photo service
for prints to buy. Group administration: Our data protection
notice can be viewed here. The Essex Bus Archive: We are continuing to build a digital archive of
Group and bus operator records. Our
long-term aim is to make these all freely available via a dedicated archive
website. Meanwhile, we can offer pdf
copies of all our of news sheets and magazines back
to 1964 (excluding the most recent two years) and copies of Eastern National
allocation sheets from 1964 to the early 1990s,
along with various other documents and records. Contact

to access all the articles currently on-line. Full details of
the latest developments on the Essex bus scene are reported in our monthly
magazine, Essex Bus Magazine. Magazine copy
is not published on this
site, except for a sample back issue. |
