Coach Tours

About the Group
|
The Group has been running coach tours for over
40 years, mainly on official visits to operators’ premises. We also organise commemorative runs to
celebrate special events. Group tours offer an excellent opportunity to see
behind the scenes and we are usually able to arrange for a selection of
vehicles to be moved into good photographic locations. Programme Saturday
April 29 – visit to “Cobham
Gathering” at Wisley, in a Talisman vehicle. Pick up at Colchester North station at
0800, fare to be advised. Saturday
May 26 – “Interesting Independents” - Cambridgeshire &
Tuesday
June 19 – our customary evening visit to Talisman
Coachlines plus local tour; pick up at Colchester North station at 1900
sharp, fare £5. Pre-booking not
required. (Details of further

In May 2011 we made an
evening visit to the Transport Depot of the London Borough of Redbridge to view their interesting fleet of buses and
coaches, which include a number of ex Dublin Olympians. Here our party of members and guests pose
with one.
